It was a beautiful sunny day and the place was packed! The picture of the mouse in bed was done by Beatrix Potter ( who stayed in the house). The house was freezing. No radiators on except for the towel rail in the bathroom (one of the NT ladies told us to go there to warm up!). We shared a cup of tea and a piece of pastry/raspberry jam and coconut on top. When we got home I made 20 more hearts!
In this first picture I am wearing the bag I have just crocheted. It has one of my ceramic hearts for detailing.

The house is owned by the NT but the family still live there until they don't have a male hier!
Having spent the morning (after pancakes) first showing Simon how to turn his first pots I then made some of my "indented" hearts. After lunch we decided to pop down to Long Melford to visit a National Trust place we had not been to. Josie having got home at 3 in the morning ( I knew this was the time because I had been awake waiting for her!!!!) decided not to join us.
