Back to Wandlebury

Such a lovely sunny day we went back to last weeks visit. Wandlebury Park is so big it's impossible to do it all in one visit. And the tempting prospect of lunch in the Magog cafe to good to miss. Shared the best ploughmans and this weeks treat a most delicious lemon Victoria sponge! We fought over the lemon butter icing!

Gog Magog - Wandlebury Park Cambridge

Took a trip to Wandlebury park just south of Cambridge. The sun was out so it didn't matter that there was chill in the air. Walked through thick golden leaves and saw wonderful views. When we arrived at 10.30am sheep were lying down like they were taking it easy on a Sunday - just munching the grass near them! Later when we came back they had bothered to get up! We then went to the Magog farm and cafe shop for mushroom soup and bean stew washed down with this weekends prize bun - custard tart!!! Yum!

Fwd: For yourblog

Last Sunday after a very hard essay which three generations were involved in we took Josie out to give her an airing! We went to Clare and had a walk up the old railway line. We took a thermos and flapjack for a little stop enroute. It was a beautiful day! Josie took these photos.

Charlottes GCSE tech coursework

Today Steve and Charlotte came over to use the band saw for Charlottes Art Nouveau clock she is making. Took a look up the garden and it is just covered in leaves. Autumn is truly here.

Lavenham Contemporary

This month I have been lucky enough to be working here on Tuesdays. Surrounded by wonderful Suffolk landscapes. Oh and jolly good lunches and people!
