Ferment menu continue

Here is chicken and noodle broth soup. We had two free puddings because they liked us - first vacuum packed water melon in sweet rice wine ( very lovely) then puréed pineapple with Taiwan sweet potato crisps - very good. The waitress was from Iceland and was very sweet.

Ferment Copenhagan

Japanese restaurant called Ferment. We had the taster menu.

We had Icelandic beer with sweet anchovies and seaweed as a snack. followed by aubergine and dim sum made from white fish (excellent). Then Octopus toasts ( melt in the mouth). Then egg cooked at 64 degrees ( don't know why) with wafer thin dried tuna fish ( not so keen on this one). More to come

Little Bror - supper

Last night by chance we found this amazing eating place. Here is the menu - like nothing we had ever tasted but really lovely ...

It made us chuckle for some time!!

Seen a few times on the motorway!!

Simon says not to send it to AJ as he thinks it will offend!

Shots of Copenhagen

We love Copenhagen 💚

This city is just wonderful - so relaxed and such lovely Danish people. Danish pastries are really BIG - but yummy!! So had very healthy small lunch! Having such a good time feels like a second Honeymoon ❤️❤️

Oh yes Simon finally found a chair that suits him - only £1800!!!

Debieres in Delft

So an excellent recommendation from our hosts we found this bar/ restaurant. Brown Leffe beer on tap 😀😀. Nice bread which is served with chopped olives and mayonnaise!
Good band posters - take a look at the acts names.

Delft - B&B room

This is our cosy apartment with our bed in a cupboard as is traditional in Holland. Lovely breakfast with Dutch cheese and blackberry jam😀

Delft - B&B

Here we are outside our B&B in guesthouse street. So the trick here is NOT to park in the canal!!! They offer a free parking service if you are too nervous too - but Simon took up on the challenge. I of course had got out of the car!!! It was a tight gap!! Katrina and Steff made us feel really welcome.

Harwich to Holland

Miraculously a good trip regardless of swirling seas - the Britannica did her stuff.
