Leigh in sea

We found a good place to have a coffee and bread pudding cake - it was preferable to the jellied eels! On the way back we took a peek at Canvey Island - and had a cup of thermos tea. It's unlikely we will be returning to Canvey.

A trip to Leigh On Sea!

We felt like an outing but not too far so we thought we would try the Essex coast. Leigh On Sea is highly rated by trip advisor so off we set. Luckily the sun shone although there was a biting wind.

We found a very enthusiastic man in the museum who told us a lot about its history and then we took a stroll. We liked the Union Jack tablecloths in the rather run own tea rooms. Oh yes can you spot the jellied eels! People were eating them by the bucket full.

New work for July Open Studios

I have very kindly been invited to be a part of Linda Richardson's open studios this July to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer. So as pottery takes eight years to produce one things I have taken the opportunity the half term to get my skates on and produce some things worthy of exhibiting. :)

A visit to Lavenham to see Chuff's new pad.

We visited Chuff aka Sarah and her brother Mark in Lavenham this weekend. They have bought the ancient cottage to do up and rent out as holiday lets. We had a lovely lunch of gammon egg and chips in the Greyhound pub and then popped into the galleries to see our friends - very busy in all.

It's hard being loved!!
