A Birthday Trip to Boulogne

Just a little day trip to take Granny to her favourite place. But oh dear if there wasn't a train stuck in the channel tunnel and a bit of a delay ensued - well 3 hours!

Then we raced to the old town part of Boulogne to find a wonderful lunch in the Grillardine. Very nice Jean-Charles was very sympathetic to our journey troubles having been a Eurostunnel employee for some years. Now he and his wife Sylvie run a very nice restaurant with good trip adviser reviews. Then we walked around to see the "funny" art as JC called them!
