So here we are on the ferry... And the next picture shows the QE2 or is it the Quenn Mary??? Anyway it was off to New York... How civilised! We found a very wonderful village fete - very traditional with coconut shy and dog show etc... Also these wonderful cars....

Somebody was left behind!

So we have just dropped of Madam at school for her last music tour!!! 24 hours on a coach to Prague. But just nipped into her room and found old Ernie peaking out from behind her pillow..... 18 but a child a heart :)

The Floatilla

So about an hour before they came we saw lots of silly cars go by - throwing spotty hats and sweets to the crowd. Leesa did you see these in Harrogate?

Tour De Finchingfield!

So at a Bon heur we walked from Great Bardfield and were lucky to get a good seat near the bridge at Finchingfield. More and more and more people arrived about 3500 the police thought it seemed more .

Linton Walk

Off to Linton for a simple snack in the Linton Kitchen and then a 4 mile hike round the fields. I was most grateful to the WI who had bought a bench at the top of the hill!! Bless them.

Afternoon tea in the garden

After a good hike round Linton ( photos to follow) we are back home and enjoying a slap up cream tea with our own fresh raspberries - pussy is taking it easy as usual! Madam wishes she was home x
