We set off to arrive early and luckily we did for the village hall had a local market with yummy things to buy including courgette cakes which were delicious. Also in orford we found The Pump Street Bakery which is in fact Heaven on Earth!!!! We both fell in love and were fully prepared to part with whatever money was asked for to get our hands on the most wonderful bread and buns going! Apparently the owner liked french bread so much he decided to try and make his own, firstly in his garage and now this bakery. They do do mail order so may I recommend the Eccles cakes....... We went for lunch to and had cucumber and mint soup - just wonderful. It's lucky I don't live there otherwise we would be poor and fat!!!
