Today I have limited myself to working on only a few new items. The idea of less is more. I am pleased with the result. Here are the unfired items.

David Hockney - A Bigger Picture

Went to the David Hockney exhibition today with Janey and despite having to change trains twice ie 3 trains instead of 1 we got to the Royal Accademy.
We spent two and a half hours there. Really bright vivid colours - child like - Van Gogh esc but a truly amazing body of work. Then exhausted we had a light lunch in Fortneums across the road. Tea cost £5.50!!! Didn't know until the bill came!!!

Birthday weekend to Amsterdam

We drove to Amsterdam which took the best part of a day. We had a few problems parking and got told off by a policeman for driving in a cycle lane. The don't want cars in the city. Everyone and I mean everyone cycles everywhere. People are veryfriendly
and helpful. Amsterdam is a jolly place
And we enjoyed our visit.

Another joyous visit to Lavenham. Today celebrating the gallery extension . For lunch Pheasant Normandy, raspberry pavlova and Janeys black forest cup cake!
