Woods in!!

Here are some lovely unusual Dhalias I bought on the roadside. They lasted a whole week!

At last the wood has arrived and is now stacked neatly and we have no more excuses not to have a fire... Love the smell and warmth.

Tombs Day!

Family tombs day again. Today's lecture was on heraldry - very interesting. North family crest is of lions and fleur de lys. Moto - spirit and loyalty. Or as my mother said love and loyalty. Sounds good. It was her birthday today and we had clubbed together to buy her a sat nav. She is pictured here with her friend Nicholas.

This weekend!

We bought madam a silver wol (pooh bear ref) to show her how proud we were of her and owl for wisdom!! We also went for our favourite walk at Magog downs.

A school marrow!

So an email arrives from the school farm selling produce and I order a marrow which is delivered by two small very sheepish girls from the lower school. Ahhhhh... And here's what I did with it!

A beautiful walk in Bradwell

Lovely sunny day for it and although it was over 6 miles the plough mans and half a larger shandy were worth the effort as was the sparkling sea sometimes on both sides.
